ALL OF MY USER INTERFACE WORK IS CURRENTLY UNDERGOING A FULL REFACTOR AS I'VE BEEN EXPERIMENTING WITH THE COMMONUI PLUGIN. THE FEATURES DESCRIBED BELOW WERE ORIGINALLY IMPLEMENTED USING UNREAL ENGINE’S NATIVE UMG SYSTEM.

USER INTERFACE
My main task on this project is to fully develop the user interface, including the menus and HUD. The biggest part of it was creating an entire UI manager that would manage and could be used in every menu/element, allowing for easy scalability.
I also integrated the artists' assets and created custom menu elements, including button, sliders, toggle switchs as well as doing the animation.
ACCESSIBILITY
My other main responsibility is implementing a wide range of accessibility options within the game. I’m currently developing an input rebinding menu and adding brightness and gamma settings, as the game features a dark visual atmosphere.
This section will be updated as additional accessibility features are implemented.

PERFORCE
Anticipating the project’s larger scope and the use of Unreal Engine 5, I suggested switching from GitHub to Perforce for version control.
I took charge of renting and configuring a Linux Debian server to host the Perforce instance for our project files. Additionally, I created comprehensive versioning documentation and delivered a presentation to the team on using Perforce and its Unreal Engine integration.
As I'm writing this text, the project is still ongoing and I'm rewriting all the UI logic with CommonUI. So far I've had a ton of fun working with C++ on a longer sized student project.
This page will be updated in the future.
