SOUND SYSTEM

I created multiple easy-to-tweak interfaces for the game designers so they could quickly implement sounds and choose to play them randomly or not if needed.

The system was aimed to work on both UI elements and gameplay events.
Love Knight is a reflection mobile game released on the Android Play Store. You play as Lambertus, a knight lost in a dungeon for 6 years now who didn't yet manage to defeat the final boss - El Rey Cristobal Von Strativosky. Over the years, Lambertus started to develop feelings for the dungeon's merchant: Lemarchand. He now has to confess his love, and everything will depend on your actions.

MAIN UI PROGRAMMER

My biggest task on this project was to design, create, code and integrate the whole user interface in the game. I started designing the UI in Adobe XD then did a greybox model in Unity. After everything was validated, I implemented the artists' assets and polished everything (animations & screen size responsive).

I worked closely with both artists and game designers to validate the style, position and user experience provided by the UI.

SAVE SYSTEM

I was in charge of implementing a save system able to correctly save user preferences and game progression. It was the first time that I worked with binary formatters and persistent data paths.

Another programmer of the team then took over this system to implement the rest of variables to save since I still had a lot of work on the user interface.
Overall this project was really pleasant to work on. The people I was working with were all very motivated and hard workers. All the work we had to do was done in time.

It was also the first time I made a mobile project, and it was a really fun thing to do. Since UI work is something I like to do and that mobile games rely on that a lot, I really found my purpose on the project.
